The Easter Parade: Part II

Annie had the benefit of an extended Easter celebration. Read: Lots and lots of candy inside plastic eggs. On Thursday she partook in her preschool's Easter egg hunt, then Friday, our mother's group had their egg hunt (above), and of course today, she got her Easter basket from the Easter Bunny. I don't think she'll ever come down from the sugar high. I have to give a shout out to one of my best friends, Ariel (whom I competed against during many an Easter Egg hunt when we were little) for the adorable Easter dress Annie sported on Friday. Annie was an egg-hunting fiend, we actually had to stop her to leave some for her friends to find. Whilst hunting it took a little encouragement to get her to refrain from opening each egg as she found it. What I found amusing was how she immediately learned to shake the egg next to her ear to make sure it wasn't a dud. That's my girl. I'll put a few videos below capturing her egg-citement (sorry, couldn't resist) this weekend. Happy Easter, everyone. Hopefully Annie's sugar crash will result in a nap. One can only dream.
